I love my wife and all, but she is totally missing it with our
3-year-old daughter. She lets her get away with
whatever she wants. How do I get my wife to stop making excuses for our daughter misbehaving all the time?
Today I arrived home to find that my 2.5yo son got his first black eye,
compliments of older boy carelessly pushing him down a slide during
daycare. He hit his face/eye on the slide on the way down. What do you tell your kids after they've been picked on (whether it be on purpose or not), especially while they are still in the toddler stage?

of consulting/freelancing and wondered how. Anyway, just wondered if any of the other parents out there had any
tips on how to get work done, with a 1 yr old around the house all day.
I guess it boils down to naptime and evenings?

Guys I have to admit I have been looking at my wife strangely. It all started when we first suspected that she was pregnant. My wife and I had been trying to conceive for over 2 years and we had some close but no cigar moments. So when 5 months back when my wife was late we had learned to take it in stride. But then days went by and still she was late. So we decided to stop by the drug store one night and get one of those tests. We come back and get ready for bed. My wife takes the opportunity to use the test and low and behold it pops positive.
Has anyone else been following this crazy Safe-Haven Law goof in Nebraska? Parents are actually abandoning their teenagers at the footsteps of
Nebraskan hospitals. Starting today, it won't be legal anymore, but
nonetheless, this really begs the question - what led these parents to
do such a thing?
