Moving across the ocean (eventually)

So my wife 6 month old and I are in training to become tribal church planters. What that means is we are planning on heading to overseas remote location (Cambodia to be specific) to where a people group has never had the chance to hear the Gospel message and eventually plant a church based solely upon the foundation of the Holy Bible. We will be learning their language and teaching them in their native tongue and culture. We have a 6 month old and he will be roughly 4 years old when we will be heading to Cambodia. I would like feedback and questions on this of what you guys think about this life altering decision my family is embarking on. I am new to this forum as well so I am not sure if this is the proper place to post.

awesome!
What an awesome Journey the Lord seems to be taking you on. I would love the opportunity to do what your doing. The Lord has us state side right now but maybe in the future He will lead us to the tribal ministry.
My thoughts are that you should press on and if things fall into place, of course there might be some expected opposition, then the Lord is in it. If its not to happen, He won't let you go.
We are just as safe in our beds as we are in a battlefield. Your son will grow up in the Lord's hands here or in Cambodia.
Praying when I remember,
Jimmy
We are definitely praying
We are definitely praying but more importantly we are stepping out in faith to see what God will do in our lives. We just finished 2 years of Bible School, where we took a literal-hermeneutic and chronological approach to studying God's Word. And are moving up to Canada (its where our next phase of training is) on Tuesday, then we are headed to California for the summer to plug into our home church before they send us out as missionaries. If you want to check out more about us we have a site set up at http://web.mac.com/youngsplace. And the organization we are with is New Tribes Mission (www.ntm.org) if you are interested.
solid
if it's bathed in prayer, than you guys are solid. It sounds like a great adventure to be sure. Gotta keep your situation posted here K?
