The savvydaddy blog celebrates the joy of fatherhood and digs into the fun complexity of being a dad with perspectives, stories, and bottom-line reporting on the issues we dads care about.

Tony Chen Hey ya'll, I'm founder of savvydaddy.com. I'm married to an amazing wife and dad to a 22-month son, who loves ping pong, tofu, noodles, and dancing. A few of my favorite things: Red Sox, bubble tea, healthcare blogging, vitamin water, sushi, the book of Proverbs, Shawshank Redemption, playing the accordian, finding sustainable new ideas that serve patients better. But few things match singing the "bathtime" song with the little guy & just chilling with the family.

Phillip Stott I grew up in Scotland, and met my wife (a Wisconsinite) while travelling and teaching English language in Eastern Europe.  From there we spent some time in Japan and Korea before settling in NYC, where I work as a writer. I didn't think there would be many tougher challenges in life than wading through U.S. immigration laws, but that was before my daughter came along in November '07.  Since then, life's been a whirlwind, but a ton of fun -- and I wouldn't have it any other way.  As for my favorite things: you know the saying about how you can take the boy out of the country, but not the country out of the boy? Appreciation for soccer, golf and an occasional glass of good scotch rank pretty highly on my list, although I'm also learning the joys of football (go Packers!), and consider any time in the kitchen to be time well spent. (Phil's charity of choie is Unicef)

Won Kim I grew up a Midwest boy in St. Louis, Mo., and now find myself working in New York City, married to a Jersey girl and a father of two boys. I have remained an avid Cardinals fan and dream of one day seeing one of my sons playing for the Cards (no pressure though). Some of my favorite things to do: play catch on a sunny afternoon, take long scenic drives, write haikus to my wife and consume a really good burger. (For Won's blogging efforts, Savvy Daddy donates to Won's charity of choice: a missionary in Cambodia that works with orphans)

silly_sad_machine is a husband and first-time father from the rural Midwest. When he's not raising his one-year-old daughter, he enjoys gaming and dabbling in music. He and his wife have been married for three years.
