Warren Buffet on the economy and investing
Regardless of what you think of Warren Buffett, he is one of the richest men on the face of the planet. And he made his money investing it in great companies with great management teams doing good business that he can understand. Every year he writes an annual letter to his shareholders - it is remarkably transparent and written in remarkably plain-old English - quite refreshing for a multibillionaire CEO. Very interesting letter. Reads much easier than most annual reports I have read. It certainly is refreshing to hear someone in his position try to relate to us ordinary folk. And he seems to actually have an understanding of what is going on in the economy right now; and what I especially like is that he seems to keep it in perspective, rather than going off the deep-end with a bunch of apacolyptic talk -- things are bad now, but they will get better, seems to be his mantra.
